                                    PCRM - Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine

                                    PCRM was founded by Dr. Neal Barnard.  The PCRM website has a wealth of information and is the parent organization for the Food for Life classes taught by Delisa.  Below are links to some of the great information that can be found there.

                                    Vegsource.com - This website is an amazing and wonderful source of information on many of the reasons for eating a plant-based diet. Though the focus is on health, nutrition and wellness it is also has many surprising articles concerning other vegan issues.   Jeff and Sabrina Nelson the, Vegsource founders, also organize the Healthy Lifestyle Expo conference in California and sell DVDs from the annual conferences. (Delisa has the DVDs from all of their conferences!)

                                    _John McDougall, M.D. - is one of the pioneers in using a plant-based diet to heal disease.  He is the author of many books and videos explaining how eating a diet high in animal products is the primary case of diseases suffered by most Americans.

                                    T.Colin Campbell, Ph.D - is a nutrition researcher who conducted the most comprehensive nutrition study ever!  His research showed conclusive evidence that a plant-based diet is the healthiest diet to eat.  His book, The China Study, provides valuable and life changing information derived from his nutrition research.
                                    _Joel Fuhrman, M.D. - is a proponent of eating a nutrient dense plant-based diet for reversing disease & losing weight permanently.

                                    Caldwell Esselstyn, Jr., M.D. - His website explains how people can become heart attack proof by eating a low-fat, whole foods, plant-based diet.

                                    NutritionFacts -  Created by Michael Greger, M.D.  He reads all of the latest nutritional studies and creates informative and often entertaining videos summarizing the findings. He adds a new, short video every day!

                                    Earth Save - This organization was founded by John Robbins, author of Diet for a New America and The Food Revolution.  This website has many thought provoking articles that will open your mind to the realities of eating a diet of animal products.

                                    Farm Sanctuary - This website is about advocacy for farmed animals, educating people about how animals are treated in factory farms and the many issues concerning production of animal products for food.

                                    _Compassion Over Killing - COK is a nonprofit animal advocacy organization working to end animal abuse since 1995, COK focuses on cruelty to animals in agriculture and promotes vegetarian eating as a way to build a kinder world for all of us, both human and nonhuman.

                                    Mercy for Animals - Mercy For Animals is a national non-profit organization dedicated to preventing cruelty to farmed animals and promoting compassionate food choices and policies.
